The American Craft Council Show returns to San Francisco's Fort Mason Center this August 4-6, 2017. As the largest juried fine craft show on the West Coast, the three-day show will showcase more than 225 of the top contemporary craft artists from across the country all under one roof.
Craft collectors and design enthusiasts will also have a chance to engage in four special showcases: Make Room: Modern Design Meets Craft, Style Slam, Let's Make, and Hip Pop.
ACC's newest program, 'Style Slam,' will feature four professional stylists who will dress and accessorize mannequins and models with the trendiest looks of the season. The style gurus will also make over show attendees and demonstrate how statement pieces from participating ACC artists are the perfect fit in any fashion-conscious wardrobe.
'Let's Make,' a demonstrational and interactive initiative, will invite show-goers to connect to the process of craft making. During the show, a variety of artisans with expertise will provide live demonstrations that encourage attendees to touch, feel, taste, and experience the process behind composing finely crafted art.
'Hip Hop' will feature the best and brightest emerging craft artists. With the bright pink and black Hip Pop logo on every station, pop-up booths will allow show goers to visit, discover and interact with new and fresh perspectives of local artists ranging from sophisticated elegance to cutting-edge finds.
