Gemini Bistro, a Chicago-favorite and a Lincoln Park treasure, has been transformed in rockstar fashion, parting ways with its last name and tapping design firm, 555 International to reimagine the restaurant's interior. Now simply known as Gemini, the modern eatery exudes both a retro and rustic ambiance, calling upon white oak butcher block table tops, custom bronze mirrors, and a black and white palette to serve up a design scheme as fresh as its menu.
Thoughtfully curated elements featuring a touch of All-American glamour, were accomplished by James Geier and his team. From top to bottom, from revolving door through newly added bar, Gemini's aesthetic is rife with architectural grandeur and details - even those that may not be obvious to the eye, such as acoustic treatments and thoughtfully sized and skewed, space-saving banquettes.
