Avenue Road recently opened a new, by-appointment concept space in New York. Welcoming and serene, Avenue Road 8A was conceived by curator Stephan Weishaupt to feel like a true home, encouraging guests to freely explore and interact with the space, making the design process incredibly personal and private. 8A will not only offer an elevated client experience, but will act as a venue for installations and events to promote and enrich the creative and cultural discourse.
"The New York design community is seeking unique and elevated experiences," Weishaupt commented. "Avenue Road 8A gives our clients a private and personal way to view our collections. It's a total concept environment that shows how far they can take the design from furniture to bespoke kitchens and architectural products."
Located on the 8th floor above the brand's showroom in New York's flower district, the 5,000-square-foot location will display a portfolio of Avenue Road's own range of furniture from designers including Yabu Pushelberg and Sebastian Herkner, alongside exclusive lines from Christophe Delcourt and Van Rossum, textiles from Kvadrat/Raf Simons, and architectural Apure lighting by Porsche Design.
