Wacom Announces Bamboo Ink and Bamboo Sketch

Wacom has today announced two new smart styluses to help creatives capture ideas. Bamboo Ink is a smart stylus developed with Microsoft for the Windows Ink Workspace that works across most Windows 10 platforms. The stylus offers customized, natural writing and sketching experience with three different fine nibs and an ergonomic design.

Bamboo Ink can launch pen-enabled apps like Sticky Notes or Bamboo Paper, where notes or drawings created in the app can soon be synchronized across devices with Wacom's Inkspace service to store, access, and manage ideas in the cloud.

Bamboo Sketch is a smart stylus for iOS devices that allows users to draw on their devices like they would with a pen and paper. It provides a customizable and natural pen-on-screen experience with battery life that lasts up to 16 hours.

With Bamboo Sketch's 2,048 levels of pressure sensitivity, consumers can write and draw in a way that looks and feels like a pen on paper. The new smart stylus comes with a travel case that carries the pen, replacement nibs, and USB charging unit.
