Nude Brand Creation Unveils Design for Ballantine's Limited Release 30 Year Old Cask Edition

Nude Brand Creation has unveiled its design for Ballantine's first Limited Release 30 Year Old Cask Edition. Dark, rich and multi layered, the packaging design of the bottle and outer box reflects the complexity and preciousness of the rare liquid within, which is exclusively available in Korea Travel Retail.

A tactile parchment paper label, with contrasting foiled copper, reflects the light while rich and dark tones communicate the qualities of this rare whisky, which was crafted by one of Scotland's most respected Master Blenders, Sandy Hyslop. Hyslop expertly hand selected some of Ballantine's rarest whiskies, blending and preparing them in small batches at cask strength to create a whisky that intensifies the qualities and flavours of the original award-winning Ballantine's 30 Year Old.

Each bottle features an individual number, reinforcing its limited availablity, while an overseal label on the stopper illustrates the artisan nature of the product. A copper colored metal plaque communicates luxury. Inspired by photos in the Ballantine's archives, the typography on the front label is reminiscent of the text used on traditional casks.

A tactile, solid wood outer box, with metallic copper leather-effect covering, includes stitch detailing and is embossed with the Ballantine's crest. Copper coloured inlaid metal strips create a sense of craft and a subtle flash of warm light, while a parchment paper label sits in a debossed panel. The richness of the design evokes a sense of the aged casks and the complex mixture of materials used reflects the craftsmanship that went into creating the whisky.

Key Ballantine's design cues such as the crest, signature and band foot label were retained to keep its prestige appearance and to reassure consumers.
