The 2018 San Francisco Design Week, an essential week-long city-wide festival that showcases the unique intersection of ideas, design, business & entrepreneurism that makes the Bay Area the birthplace of the future, will be held June 7-15.
Through studio tours and events, SFDW will celebrate the city's spirit of newness by providing unique access to exhibitions and conversations with the designers who are shaping the future — from architecture to fashion, product design to digital services, and everything in between.
Highlights of this years event include California Varietals, an exhibition of new California design and makers; Future Foods, an ecosystem lab of food innovation, food designers, and food technologies; Stanford d.school, a design learning workshop; Britelite Immersive's Philanthropost, an interactive micro-lending exhibit; and Design in a Brave New World, a discussion by design leaders on making new digital currencies.
