Helmm has launched S-Desk, a new collection of surface elevators for people working from home and wanting to improve their home-office set-up.
Helmm's work surface elevators allow anyone to turn their existing desk, kitchen table or coffee table into a standing desk whenever they want to switch from sitting to standing while they work. The architecturally-influenced designs made in the UK using just five wooden components that require no tools, bolts or glue to assemble. They simply slide and lock together and sit on top of your existing work surface.
"As a product designer, I wanted to design something that not only looked great but also helped to make people feel better," explained Sam Cranwell, Chief Product Designer at Helmm. "Our work surface elevators are stylish, space-saving and useful, in a tactile, sustainable source wood. They're designed to give the home office or workspace a little facelift whilst doing their bit for good health too."
