SHIFT has unveiled SCALES, a new collection of tiles created in partnership with Opticreto's concrete tile division Murum. Inspired primarily by 2D geometric patterns, Scales' development challenge was based around generating visually striking yet aesthetically pleasing surfaces in three dimensions.
The studio created interesting and pronounced sculptural volumes that project a more textured look, resulting in deeper contrasts when reacting to lighting in different environments.
