ercol has launched VON by Hlynur Atlason at Salone del Mobile. The furniture system encompasses a chair, an armchair, a work chair, a bench/ coffee table and a magazine table
The range is ercol's inaugural modular system available in trending jewel and neutral tones, offering the brand's unique Windsor chair aesthetic to unify residential settings such as the living room, the home office and public spheres the likes of office lounge area, healthcare waiting room, hotel lobby and more.
Making his first-ever furniture design debut, the collection designer, Hlynur Atlason has a background in product design and is best known for his work for Microsoft, DKNY, Kate Spade and many more. "VON is designed to bring what we love about our homes into the professional environment," stated Atlason. "When designing the VON collection, we set out to offer a warm natural material palette and friendly forms, made with construction typologies found in ercol's archives. While being a highly functional system, the collection should generate the feeling of home, when configured in any space."
