Puccini Group spearheaded the interiors of Grain & Cane, the new restaurant for The Embassy Suites by Hilton in Berkeley Heights, run by the Connells, that just opened earlier this month.
Recalling the Connells' history in the grain business, the restaurant's industrial aesthetic-think exposed brick walls, polished concrete floors, and steel columns-references the family's grain storage facilities. Oversized, garage-style doors offer sweeping views of the New Jersey hillside. The end result is a restaurant tailor-made to its site and ownership.
