Appear Here has launched 'Found x Appear Here,' a unique collaboration with award-winning architects Found Associates to design a new furniture collection designed for short-term retail.
The nature of retail is changing, the rise of short term rentals means that businesses are looking for more efficient, flexible ways to set up shop. Appear Here offers a 'plug and play' retail experience, from staffing to store furniture. Allowing people to set up shop at speed, whilst creating a unique brand experience.
"The Appear Here collaboration was born out of our shared passions for excellent design with the awareness of the changing needs for physical retail," explained Richard Found, Found Associates CEO. "We saw an obvious gap in the market where retailers are looking for something more affordable and flexible; this collaboration provides an easy solution for independent retailers, department stores and landlords looking to fit out their stores."
Found x Appear Here is the first design-led furniture collection built for temporary retail, featuring six core pieces that can be rented by week or month and assembled in one hour. The collection, which has been designed and made in the UK, includes stackable shelves, hanging rails, cash desks, display plinths, mirrors and fitting rooms.
In three simple color ways and high quality materials, the pieces offer brands a flexible and design-led alternative to expensive fit-outs and budget furniture. The collection has been designed to act as a blank canvas for retailers to create their own brand experience. As short-term retailers have less time to dedicate to their fit outs, sometimes less than 24 hours, the Found X Appear Here collection can be assembled in under one hour - with no tools, nuts or bolts required for construction.
