Patrick Norguet recently designed two new products for Pedrali, Vic Chair and Fox Soft.
Vic chair draws inspiration from classic mid-century chairs, modernized using advanced technology: the backrest with sinuous shapes lifts up from the seat while remaining tied only at the ends. The resulting opening provides Vic with design lightness and eases the handling. Vic chair, elegant and refined in its simplicity but also comfortable and cosy, allows a high grade of customization and it is suitable for both contract and home furnishing projects.
An instantly recognizable architecture characterizes Fox, the elegant armchair with a distinctive personality and compact dimensions. Its outline stands out for its harmonious mixture of materials and contrasting geometric lines and this year has been presented in the new upholstered version. The result is an extremely versatile and functional collection, which is an archetype able to highlight the aesthetic features of its materials. The slim shaped shell is upholstered in leather or fabric and embraced by a backrest in bent ash wood with rounded ends. The versatility and functionality of the upholstered Fox version are enhanced by different color combinations of wood and upholstery, shades that emphasize the design of the armchair itself.
