ADDRESS, a four-day design event showcasing North America's finest designers and makers, will return to Vancouver for the sixth year with a host of new exhibitors, including Los Angeles's Nike Schroeder and sculptor Djuna Day. Founded by furniture designer Kate Duncan in 2014, the event brings together a cutting-edge designer/maker community from all disciplines including furniture, lighting and accessories.
In just five years, the popular design event has established itself as the hub for emerging designers and the region's top talent. Each designer is selected for their unique methods that are deeply rooted in refined aesthetics, advanced production processes, and use of exceptional materials.
This year, ADDRESS is expanding its designer showcase from a Pacific Northwest focus to feature designers from across North America. This year's event will feature over 40 designers and artists curated by show producer Kate Duncan and Amber Kingsnorth, Principal at Mak Interiors.
"The level of talent in both production complexity and aesthetics always blows my mind. It's so incredible to see the final product in real life on our show floor," stated show founder Kate Duncan "To meet the makers and discuss their pieces makes it a truly special event. This is such an amazing group of people."
