GRAY has announced the winners of the 2019 GRAY Awards, a cross-disciplinary design awards program focused on the Pacific Northwest. Designers and manufacturers were invited to submit products and projects across eleven categories, including a 'Design for Good' category, which spotlights design that is making a social or environmental impact.
An esteemed judging panel of international design luminaries, including HAY cofounders Mette and Rolf Hay, designer Yves Béhar, Note Design Studio's Johannes Carlström, and Zaha Hadid Architect's Patrik Schumacher reviewed and scored 220 entries.
GRAY Awards winners were revealed during the GRAY Awards party, Seattle's design event of the year. Winners received a custom-designed trophy, handcrafted exclusively for the GRAY Awards by distinguished Seattle-based glass artist John Hogan.
