Situated in Atlanta, Georgia, Habitat for Humanity's new administrative headquarters is a vibrant and holistic reflection of the brand and the non-profit's impact on the world. The new office is equipped to accommodate over 300 employees and will occupy a more efficient footprint of 54,603 square feet of space.
Tasked with creating a space that emphasizes culture, NELSON Worldwide successfully translated the brand's global story through key design elements and strategies. By working alongside Habitat's employees to gain a better understanding of essential elements, the design team created a space that serves its daily inhabitants and replicates the nonprofit's forward-thinking mentality.
NELSON Worldwide incorporated residential design and global construction elements into the open-office environment, to pay homage to Habitat's overall mission. They also adapted to a smaller footprint so that the physical space efficiently serves Habitat's Atlanta-based team and is in accordance with Habitat for Humanity's focus on effective stewardship of its resources.
