Pedrali has unveiled its new outdoor collection 'Panarea,' designed by CMP Design. Panarea is inspired by the Mediterranean coastline, and in the colors and refreshing breeze of an outdoor dinner on a sea-facing terrace, on a pleasant summer day.
The collection, which includes an armchair and a lounge armchair, features a wide and curved backrest woven in polypropylene cord which creates an original geometrical pattern and wraps around the tubular steel frame powder coated for outdoor use, as far as the armrests. This use of cord emphasizes Panarea's elegant appearance and optimizes the weave, resulting in a double curvature that gives the seating three-dimensionality and graphic rigor, as well as making it transparent and easy to move.
One of Panarea highlights is lightness, to be intended as both a distinctive feature of the product as well as a recall to a time that seems to be suspended and serene. This feeling is better enhanced in the lounge armchair, which comes with a wide seat and a high backrest whose curvature traces virtually a circular space of relaxing and conviviality.
Panarea comes in a sophisticated and contemporary chromatic palette: from the warmer shades of sand and terracotta to the colder ones of blue and grey. The color of the cushion can be matched or contrast with that of the frame.
