The Business of Being Freelance is an engaging and interactive three-part workshop designed to help creatives navigate the non-creative side of being self-employed in our evolving industry.
The Business of Being Freelance is led by Carolyn Bothwell, a seasoned freelance writer and strategist who saw the lack of resources for new freelancers during the pandemic. This was her motivation for launching Freelance Founders, a community that brings together self-employed advertising and design people to help each other succeed.
The three days of engaging and interactive conversation regarding the challenges and successes of becoming a freelance talent will cover everything from communicating with clients to pricing your services, from perfecting your workflow to preparing for tax season, and so much more.
