Lateral Office was founded in 2003 by Lola Sheppard and Mason White while in London, England. The practice, now based in Toronto, Canada, is centered on the belief that architecture is an exercise in lateral thinking, and design is an empirical process operating across seemingly disparate disciplines and phenomena.
