Audi announced as the recipient of the first honorary red dot: Client of the Year award.
Audi recieved 16 awards in the red dot award: communication design this year, and a total of 39 over the last five years.
A diverse range of design and brand agencies are behind this success.
Lothar Korn, who has been head of marketing communication at AUDI since 2008, is responsible for the communication of the automobile manufacturer.
On December 8, 2010 he will receive the honorary prize from the hands of Professor Dr. Peter Zec, president of the Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen and initiator of the red dot design award.
"For many years, AUDI has successfully positioned itself as a premium brand," said Zec.
"The brand's core message 'Vorsprung durch Technik' (advantage through technology) and the brand values 'high-quality', 'sportiness', and 'progressiveness' are implemented in an exemplary manner in a wide range of media and communication materials."
