Orhan Irmak Design developed new packaging solutions for TAC Freemood home textile brand with an emphasis on secondary usage. The aluminum packages were used for the first time in Turkish home textile sector and aim took attention of the young target consumers on the shelves. The packaging design won Superior Design Award at Design Turkey Industrial Design Awards for its environmental friendly approach.
"With the illustrations, we wanted to have a package design not only attractive for young consumers but also a simple and almost no-branded identity during its secondary usage," commented Orhan Irmak, creative director and partner of Orhan Irmak Design. "This is the reason behind our selection of white color on metal surface for the illustrations. Besides, product images are printed on stickers so that they can be easily removed."
