Artek is bringing back great and original designs from the 50' - the A808 and U336.
A808, originally designed in the 1950's by Alvar Aalto, and out of production for decades, will be re-introduced this fall.

U336 was designed by Jorn Utzon, who worked as an architect in Alvar Aalto's office. Designed in 1957 for the kitchen area of Villa Mairea, a landmark in Finland designed by Alvar Aalto. The neutral white finish and shell-like structure of this lamp echo Utzon's most famous project he designed in the same year, the Sydney Opera House. The U336 has never before been put into production.
