Mulberry has unveiled its new seasonal campaign, inspired by the ethereal color palette of Emma Hill's Spring Summer 2013 collection. Shot by renowned British photographer Tim Walker, the campaign features key looks from the new collection, showcasing beautiful, reimagined English tailoring, coats and capes layered over dresses and fresh interpretations of print design, classic outerwear and leatherwork.
The new multi-functional Willow Tote, first launched on the Spring Summer 2013 catwalk, is a focal point of three of the images, a beautiful yet common-sense structured bag with elegant clean lines and timeless appeal. The Cecily and Cecily Flower Tote are also featured, as well as Mulberry's icon Bayswater, pictured in sumptuous Ostrich.
The campaign, directed by Ronnie Cooke Newhouse, was shot at Copped Hall, a derelict yet majestic Georgian mansion outside London. The set was designed by Shona Heath, who crafted a landscape inspired by the kaleidoscope of blossom and sorbet pastels used throughout the collection and used dusty textures and ethereal undersea and lunar references to create a three-dimensional dream world in which the Mulberry Girl reclines.
"The campaign images reflect Emma's vision for the season, a dreamscape of delicate powdery pastels inspired by corals and lunar landscapes provides the perfect context for Meghan Collison's striking beauty," commented Georgia Fendley, Brand Director of Mulberry. "The images showcase some of our strongest catwalk looks and the season's key bag silhouettes. We are delighted with the results of our on-going relationship with Ronnie Cooke Newhouse and Tim Walker and we absolutely love the new campaign, every time we think it can't get any better it does! We are very lucky to work with such an amazingly talented team."
