Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance has designed eight new products for Bernhardt Design, joining the five introduced in 2016, to complete the Modern Family collection. The new designs expand the functionality and product categories of Modern Family while maintaining the core concept of the collection. Duchaufour-Lawrance envisioned a family of individual products that were uniquely different in size, scale, function and personality - a modern family that is united in spirit rather than appearance, where respective members express their individuality while still sharing a common bond.
The new products range from a streamlined bench to a beautifully sculpted lounge chair, meticulously crafted walnut guest chairs and tables of different shapes and sizes, to multipurpose task and swivel chairs with organic curves. Each design speaks the language of simplicity and graceful lines that are the trademark of Duchaufour-Lawrance.
