Alessi recently unveiled is newest flatware line: Itsumo. The cutlery set is the first from designer Naoto Fukasawa and it will launch Spring/Summer 2019.
Itsumo is the Japanese word implying things always stay with us. Infusing this cultural reference, Fukasawa created a distinct outline so that the shaped profiles of each piece of cutlery ensures a pleasant sensation both in gripping the objects and in contact with the lips. At first glance the outline seems soft and impeccable, whereas a closer look reveals a discrete obtuse angle in the detailing.
The set is composed of eleven different pieces including cake server, coffee spoon, teaspoon, butter knife, dessert knife, dessert fork, dessert spoon, table knife, table fork, tablespoon, salad set. Itsumo can be sold individually or in a 24-piece set and 5-piece place settings.
