The 50 year old, internationally known, branding and packaging design consultancy announced it will continue as CARTILS from January 2011.
The company was founded in 1960 by Dominique P.G. Claessens as Claessens Product Consultants.
It was one of the first branding and packaging design consultancies and became renowned for its work for international brands such as: Amstel, Heineken, Glenfiddich Pure Malt, La Paz, Philips, Douwe Egberts and Drum.
In 2007 the group expanded with the London office which was named Cartils.
In 2008 the head office in The Netherlands changed its name to Claessens|Cartils, communicating the connection between the two offices.
Based on the success of the London office, further expansion has been deemed as beneficial for the future of the firm.
The continuation of the business as CARTILS is due to the more exclusive nature of the name, which also complies with the ambition for global expansion.
Cartils will continue to offer its clients the best service, with its staff of over 65, including internationally oriented consultants and designers, supported by mock up specialists, art studio, in house printing and 3D modeling facility.
